DATA INTEROPERABILITY INFRASTRUCTURE

Data Interoperability System DIS

The software system that supports and builds VIV
A unified architecture, protocol and system connecting identifiers, data spaces, exchange governance and application services for trusted, controlled and auditable interoperability.
FOUR-LAYER ARCHITECTURE

Four coordinated layers, one interoperability infrastructure

DIS-U

User and Application Layer

Supports the VIV portal, six services, institutional and personal workspaces, and unified interaction for business scenarios.

DIS-X

Exchange and Governance Layer

Provides cross-owner authorization, policy enforcement, audit trails, registrar-to-registry orchestration, ICANN compliance, and coordinated DNS-abuse response.

DIS-I

Identifier Infrastructure Layer

Manages identifiers for domains, data, websites, people and AI agents while supporting the registration, resolution, DNSSEC, service-discovery and trust capabilities needed by a multi-TLD RSP foundation.

DIS-S

Data Space Layer

Uses Web technology to provide institutional and personal data spaces with management, access control, publishing, discovery and continuous service.

01One foundation for six services

Each service can be activated independently while sharing identifiers, data, permissions and audit capabilities.

02Connect data spaces across owners

Data can remain with its owner and still be used through explicit, revocable and traceable authorization.

03Connect registrars, registries and a multi-TLD RSP foundation

Start with platform names under viv.cn, connect to .viv when qualified and authorized, and keep the RSP architecture capable of supporting multiple TLDs.
